Tomorrow: New Series from fingacode

Heft Release V
Scribbs by fingacode
Starting now, collect from fingacode’s new long form generative art series ‘Scribbs‘. Each piece is randomly minted at $84 per artwork – available for collecting until Monday, Aug 11th at Noon EST.
Junior Ngoma, operating under the pseudonym fingacode, is a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus on audio, visual, and interactive technologies. Originally born in Cameroon, and now living in the United Kingdon, fingacode has developed a highly exploratory practice that has engaged creative technologies over the past ten years.
Inspired by the structure of comic pages, ‘Scribbs‘ features a grid of panels spanning from 2 to 6 rows and columns, with vast variability in sizes and configurations. The algorithmic scribblings simultaneously live within the panel, and burst outside of it. Working with twenty-four palettes, including some truly original color combinations, the algorithm produces randomized visual results with countless ways that swatches are applied to each composition.
‘BITFRAMES‘ Auction and ‘Generative‘ Event
Thank you to Matt DesLauriers and congratulations to the collector of two signed 1/1 original plotter drawings of ’BITFRAMES’ following the 6-day online auctions.

This past Saturday, we showcased a small curation of Bitframes prints to welcome the team behind the feature length documentary ‘Generative‘ to the gallery for three days of shooting critical interviews for the film. Friends of the gallery joined us for a lively night of drinks, conversations, art, and screening of the trailer of the documentary. Thank you to those who stopped by!

Additional Summer Events: Conversations III
Join us for our third edition of Conversations on Wednesday, August 13th, 6-8pm, to hear from five artists currently featured in Groundwork.
The evening will feature fun, six-minute discussions with artists Zach Lieberman, Ben Aranda, Emily Edelman, Shamus Clisset, and Rafaël Rozendaal. Each talk will delve into the artist’s inspirations, offer insights into their exhibited work, and provide a glimpse of what’s next. See you on August 13th!
