Luke Shannon Performance-Lecture + Dinner next Wed, Oct 22

Join us for an evening with Luke Shannon’s plotter-scanner: Oct 22 at 7pm
Luke Shannon will present a performance-lecture on his running plotter-scanner in the gallery next Wednesday evening, alongside readings from essayists Ruby Justice Thelot, Rex Shannon, and Maya Man. The performance will provide a live exploration of Shannon’s ideas behind his current exhibition at Heft and the accompanying Replacement Character book.
Following the performance, we also invite the lecture audience to stay to discuss the work and celebrate the project over an informal pizza dinner in the gallery.
All are welcome! RSVP at the link below.
Many thanks to everyone who joined us for the opening of Replacement Character last Wednesday!
We’re thrilled to have unveiled this special collection. It’s a study of surveillance, portraiture, and hyper-documentation, while also bringing a playfulness and provocation to our walls.
We are now offering a limited number of commissions for hour-long private sessions with Shannon and the plotter-scanner. Reach out to schedule yours.
