This Saturday, August 2nd, from 4–7pm, we are welcoming to the gallery Matt DesLauriers and the talented team behind the new documentary film being shot about the history of generative art: Ben Spilling and Amber Tordoff-Gibson. This event precedes three days of filming interviews in the gallery.

Their documentary was initially Crowdfunded by artist Matt DesLauriers’ system-based artwork ‘BITFRAMES’, and for this one-evening event, we will be showing a mini-exhibition of this series, including the two new plotter drawings currently being auctioned.

Join us to see the installation, share a drink, meet Matt, Ben, and Amber – and for an exclusive viewing of the trailer for their exciting new documentary.

Join us for our third edition of Conversations on Wednesday, August 13th, 6-8pm, to hear from artists currently featured in Groundwork.

The evening will feature five separate six-minute discussions with artists from the current group show in the gallery, including Ben Aranda, Emily Edelman, Shamus Clisset, and more. Each talk will delve into the artist’s inspirations, offer insights into their exhibited work, and provide a glimpse of what’s next. See you on August 13th!
